25 Compassion Practice

14. March 2022

This is a part of a compassion yogapractice and yogasequence inspired by Chiara Travisi from the Iyengar Yoga Institute Milano.
She shares her practice and shows how we can train compassion, benevolence, love and empathy.
You can see a part of the practice to release the brain by elongating the back of the skull and by pressing it gently into a soft support. While in the pose you can intentionally condition your mind toward emphatic feelings.
Uttanasana – head supported

Prasarita Padottanasana – with soft support under the head
Paschimottanasana – sitting on a bench or chair, feet on the floor and head supported
